Luke's TWO !

Now that Luke is the Big Two, here's a little update on what he's up to and in to. He's finally saying more and more words and phrases every day. He likes to repeat everything we say too, so he can practice more new words. His favorite words & things are cars and trucks. He wakes up asking for his cars and takes one or more with him everywhere we go. He constantly points out all the cars and trucks on the road as well. His other favorite thing is building with his lego type blocks. He builds neat towers and roads and loves to build them til they are taller than he is. He still loves books. Every night and naptime we read and then tell him to choose a couple books to take to bed with him. He puts them in his crib and then giggles as he climbs up the railing to get in. Another thing Luke has started liking recently is watching the movie The Aristocats. Every day he begs to watch it by pointing to the tv and saying "kitties, kitties" and then he gets in his rocking chair to watch it intently. Luke is also getting really good at giving us kisses, which is my favorite thing ever. And he is getting good at dressing himself. He still needs some help, but he tries real hard to put on his shoes and pants. It won't be long until he is doing it on his own. Oh, and Luke loves to walk on his toes. He takes after Mommy, as I did the same thing when I was little ! Lastly, Luke is getting real good at drinking from a real cup (not sippy cup) and he gets such a thrill and big grin from doing so. We love our little guy; he is SO much fun !
