9 Months Old

Our little angel turned 9 months old last week (yes, this update is a little late). He is getting so big and grown up. He weighed in last week at 16.8 lbs (still 5-10th %) and was 28 " (50-60th %). He may not weigh a lot, but he is verrry strong with some great muscles on him. When awake, he is moving constantly, crawling all over the place. He especially loves to crawl under things and over things, and he still loves chasing the dog and cat. It's so cute, as he gets so excited chasing them and laughing at them when they play together. He is so active, it's amazing I even got this picture, as I tried sooo many times to get one with him sitting still. He also loves to pull up and hold onto everything. He reaches very hard to get to everything he can reach. It's so cute watching him try to climb up the furniture. He has been trying to stand on his own, but doesn't quite do it, except for a second. I'm sure it'll happen soon. He loves being up high, like on our shoulders and gets the biggest grins. He also loves to push his toys (or anything!) around on the floor while on his knees. Another trick he started doing all the time happens when I'm trying to put him in the carseat. He arches his back real far, looks up to reach the light on the ceiling of the car and laughs at me, cause I can't get him to sit down. Well, eventually I can, but he makes it hard ! He has 2 teeth now and is eating well. He loves eating the puffs with his own fingers. Luke is such a precious gift and so much fun. We can't thank the Lord enough for him.
